Ecostyle Caterpillar-free 25 grams

CaterpillarFree prevents leaf damage caused by caterpillars. It is a biological spraying liquid with micro-organisms as a natural active ingredient. CaterpillarFree may be used in the ornamental, pulp and fruit garden to combat various caterpillars such as the box caterpillar, small winter moth and the cabbage white.

How to use CaterpillarFree

Spray the plants completely with the mixture as soon as caterpillars or caterpillars are detected. In case of a large pest or a lot of rainfall repeat the treatment. Treatment only at outdoor temperatures above 15 degrees Celsius. Within a few hours after treatment the caterpillar's voraciousness will stop. After 3 to 5 days they die and fall off the plant.

Tips:

• CaterpillarFree works via recording by the caterpillar. In order to achieve good control, it is necessary that all plant parts are sufficiently covered with the spray liquid.
• Newly-grown plant parts must be re-treated.
• Do not apply shortly before a shower or in full sun. Prefer to spray at sunset and treat the underside of the leaf as well.

Dosage per application

Caterpillars (apples and pears)
7.5 grams of medium per 10 litres of water (= spraying liquid)

• Small (=young) caterpillars are more sensitive to Bt than large (=old) caterpillars. Large caterpillars need to get more Bt and so you depend on how well the plant material is covered with Bt and if they can get enough Bt before it is decomposed.

• A caterpillar needs to get enough Bt. For leaf-eating caterpillars this is often not a problem, but for caterpillars that live underground or nest in the plant material, this can be a problem.
