The blade is double hardened to keep the sharp, precisely ground cut sharp for longer. Thanks to the angle of the blade, the axe splits even fresh, resinous wood easily. Thanks to the friction-reducing coating, the blade glides effortlessly through the wood and prevents rusting. The joint of the clouded axe head is firmly attached to the shaft.

The X-series™ axes are virtually unbreakable and feature a lightweight but highly durable FiberComp™ handle that absorbs shock and protects against skips. The curved handle keeps the wrist in a comfortable, neutral position. Textured SoftGrip™-coated details provide a firm grip.
